Software Engineer

Self-taught developer with over 5 years of experience. He developed enterprise applications from scratch and worked directly with clients to provide solutions in an Agile environment. He prides himself on ability to find solutions for any problem. He’s mentored developers over the years as well. His main tech stack includes: Go, MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform.

He’s also familiar with C#, .NET Core, PHP (7), SQL, ES6, Typescript, React, Entity Framework, AWS, CI/CD. Unique factors: He’s self-taught, doesn’t give up on a problem, very resourceful. Has created a large enterprise level application from scratch and has optimized an error prone background worker from 45 min to 5 min by spawning multiple workers in parallel and handling issues concurrently.

Prior to his problem solving, developers were blocked from creating new features and created a lot of downtime, so they couldn’t grow. Splitting up their services into microservices and they are bringing other services onto each of those. They automatically spin up a service, get hooked into the migrater service automatically and can change their schema automatically. He made it possible to run online schema migrations automatically now and they can take on a whole new class of businesses.
