Network Specialist

Network Specialist with 8+ years of hands-on networking experience and an associate degree in Network & Communications Management. He began his career installing and maintaining Cisco Catalyst switches and routers, implementing network topologies, and onboarding new employees while managing network topology training. For the last five years, he’s served as the most senior Network Specialist, acting as a Team Lead—delegating tickets, providing status updates, and ensuring smooth project progress. In this highly technical role, he manages the entire data center without third-party support, handling VLAN creation, securing networks, implementing firewalls, refreshing data systems, and supporting a Cisco environment transitioning from 2960s to 9300s and Nexus core switches. He also independently manages Avaya telecommunications systems, ISP coordination, and is preparing to rebuild the company’s SD-WAN infrastructure.
