Process and Design Engineer

– BS in Mechanical Engineering

– Primary interest is in design and manufacturing, loves project work, seeing something from start to finish, loves learning different processes, and seeing hands on work, and participating when she can.

– Likes a combination between desk work and hands on work.

– Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD and some experience with Creo.

– At her internship for mechanical engineering, did design and manufacturing, she got involved in as many projects as possible in all different facets. Had one big project which was a cooling system for tubing in medical devices, she designed it and put it into 3D modelling and ordered the parts.

– Team leader for capstone project, creating climate batteries for greenhouses, simulates heat transfer and air flow, using mainly Ansys and Ansys fluid, has become much more comfortable with it, set up YouTube videos and blogs to teach themselves how to use.
