• SOX expert equipped with a BS in Accounting & Finance and 3+ years' general ledger accounting experience 
• Was promoted from Accountant to Accountant II within one month of working with her current employer – a large global manufacturing firm – where she handles AP/AR, GL, fixed asset maintenance, reconciliations, month-end close, cash management, and foreign exchange conversions 
• Strong internship experience – obtained undergraduate degree in Cuba and held accounting internship handling AP/vendor management
• Upon graduation, landed accounting position with government as a Financial Analyst with Ministry of Finance and Price, the higher financial institution in Cuba 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and bilingual
