IT Support Specialist

IT Support Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on and managerial experience with IT. In his career he started as an IT Coordinator before being promoted to IT Manager. Despite being part of a small two-person team, he managed the IT infrastructure, troubleshooting network issues, adjusting VLANs, and supporting both VOIP and analog phones. He was also responsible for configuring and supporting fall risk alert sensors for resident rooms. During a major building project, he ensured that all necessary hardware was ordered and available on time. Most recently, he served as the Tech Support Specialist and Interim IT Director. In addition, he acted as a subject matter expert for their Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and supported the business side of operations. He managed Azure Active Directory (AD) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) for staff devices through Entra ID. When the IT Director left, he took on the interim director role and led the successful implementation of PointClickCare, coordinating account setup, system role configuration, and software integrations with food service and lab systems.
