Systems Developer

He has been the sole IT person at his company. If it’s plugged in, he built it, developed it, and continues to support it. Starting as a COBOL programmer, he transformed the company’s technology landscape—bringing workstations to the shop floor, wiring networks for computers and CNC equipment, and developing internal systems for accounting, estimating, time tracking, and more. He has implemented multiple ERP systems, developed custom estimating software, and recently integrated Pipedrive with accounting systems via API. His expertise spans Perl scripting on Linux, SQL database management, Python for reporting, and managing both Windows and Linux environments. He also set up VPNs, secured the network, and provided hands-on IT support for 100 employees. Additionally, he reprogrammed PLCs, repaired CNC logic controllers, and trained shop floor staff on FeatureCAM and SolidWorks. From designing infrastructure to automating workflows, he has built and maintained an IT ecosystem that keeps operations running seamlessly.
