Job Description
A Lancaster area professional services company is seeking a dedicated and passionate Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong payroll and management skills. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for a team of 5 payroll specialists in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
Payroll Manager Responsibilities
- Managing a team of payroll specialists
- Overseeing and auditing payroll team’s work
- Meeting with clients to determine their needs
- Processing multistate payroll as needed
Payroll Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5+ years recent payroll experience
- Recent management or supervisory experience
- Strong technical capabilities including Excel
- Strong understanding of multi-state payroll and payroll tax
